Louise is a qualified Therapist with the British Council for Counselling and Psychotherapy with a passion for helping Parents through all the challenges that life may throw at them including: anxiety, prenatal fears, postnatal depression, relationship issues, PTSD, depression, low self-esteem and low confidence. Louise integrates her knowledge of various approaches and can bring elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis and mindfulness to be able to tailor her approach to your needs.
I’ve worked with numerous parents in schools, a children’s centre, and through private practice across London and Kent. I’ve also worked with many issues that new parents and couples face from conception to supporting parents with older children.
Before becoming a therapist, I had an extensive career working in an international media corporation working on award-winning programmes liaising with people at all levels, interviewing and dealing with sensitive issues and situations.
I am passionate about my career and growth as a therapist, so I am passionate about continuing professional development. I am also working towards my MSc in Psychology.
I have an extensive creative and media background. I hold an A-Level in Art in conjunction with a Diploma in Performing Arts which have been beneficial in developing creative therapy.
As a parent myself, I can empathise with the journey, experiences and situations that life can throw at us as human beings and hold no judgments and work with my clients to their agenda.
