Joanna understands the challenges parenthood can bring and uses her experience and expertise as a coach and mentor to help you to access what you want from your life and career, guiding you to solve your most immediate issues or concerns to put you on the right course to achieve your ambitions.
As a mum of two, I understand the challenges parenthood can bring. It can be joyful and fulfilling, but it can also be overwhelming and exhausting.
It’s often a time you have to rethink your priorities. Your needs are pushed aside, and responsibilities change. I take pride in supporting people through the challenging transitions that we all face at times in our lives.
When did you last spend time applying yourself to your own destiny? I provide a safe space for you to re-assess your career and life, to work out what it is you want from your life. How can you get more balance and fulfilment? What do you want to tweak or change? How will you get there? What about your finances and other commitments?
I have a naturally encouraging approach, whilst at the same time gently challenging you to help you reflect on your strengths and barriers.
In our first session you’ll have the opportunity to tell me about you, and it will give me the information I need to propose a way forward that is individual to you. It will give you the valuable opportunity to decide whether coaching is something that can support you to solve your most immediate issues or concerns, or put you on the right course to achieve your ambitions. Coaching is for anyone who wants to improve an area of their life that is important to them.
I have completed an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) L7 Executive Coach and Mentor course.
I am a qualified Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) HR professional with experience in HR and Organisational Development, specialising in change projects.
I love reading and updating my knowledge to support the coaching environment and have studied Mindset, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). I also am interested in topics such as imposter syndrome, confidence, habit formation, self-compassion and resilience as I often see these themes arise within coaching.
